Through Flow Analysis of Viscous and Turbulent Flows.

Abstract

The matrix through-flow analysis is extended to cover turbulent and viscous flows by solving the streamwise equation of motion to obtain a suitable entropy field derived from the stresses. The results of computation for straight circular pipe flows agree well with published data for laminar flow with and without swirl and for turbulent flow. (Author)
