Alternative Delivery Systems for the Computer-Aided Instruction Study Management System (CAISMS).

Abstract

CAISMS (Computer-Assisted Instruction Study Management System) is a system for automatic study management implemented on the PLATO IV system at the University of Illinois. This report discusses alternative configurations for delivering CAISMS varying from general-purpose time-sharing systems to a stand-alone terminal based on a microcomputer. (Author)
