Structural Inference and Identification of Discrete Time Systems.

Abstract

This dissertation develops a general theory of coordinatized sets and structured functions. This theory is then applied to structure inference and identification of discrete time systems with coordinatized state spaces. Several measures of model performance such as structural confidence, predictive range and confidence are introduced. (Author)
