Dragon Missile Simulator.

Abstract

A brassboard training device that simulates the Dragon missile was developed and tested to evaluate the characteristics that are necessary for improved training of Dragon gunners. Videotape recording and a full color simulation were found to be valuable as a training aid. An audible signal indicating aiming errors was found not to be an advantage since it is not present in the real system. Further development of a training device for field use will occur after firm requirements are established. (Author)
