Computer Generated Random Sea Surfaces for Use with the Program CABUOY.

Abstract

Random sea surfaces representative of sea states 3 through 8 have been generated for use with the computer program CABUOY. Output waveforms are presented graphically, along with the frequencies, amplitudes and phases of the component waves. Physical characteristics of the generated waveforms are compared with actual sea state data. (Author)
