Air Defense Gun Fire Control System Performance with a Bias Predictor

Abstract

A bias predictor was introduced to couple with a simple nine state discrete Kalman filter for solving the gun fire control problem. The performance of this system showed that an earlier and higher probability of hit can be achieved if the defended target position is known.
