Mutal Admittance Between Slots on a Cylinder or Cone

Abstract

The present contract studied the mutual admittance between two thin slots on a conducting cylinder or a cone by ray techniques. Our main contribution in the development of an approximate asymptotic Green's function for the surface function, expressed in terms of Fock functions, is simple to evaluate, and gives excellent numerical results when compared with known exact solutions and/or experimental data. This report contains a brief administrative summary plus three attachments which give the technical details.
