High Altitude Pollution Program A Status Report Prepared in Accordance with PL 95-95,

Abstract

The past and planned activities of the High Altitude Pollution Program (HAPP) are summarized. A preliminary HAPP assessment of the stratospheric effects from aviation indicates that there is no imminent threat of ozone reduction from any type of existing aircraft, though substantial uncertainties still remain to be unravelled.
