Investigation of Wideband Dual Mode Antennas Employing a Symmetrical Feed Network.

Abstract

A symmetrical network for a wideband (two-octave), dual mode spiral antenna for submarine periscope applications has been investigated. Performance results are compared with an antenna using conventional feed circuitry and multipath-environment effects are discussed. (Author)
