Basic Requirements for Nuclear Testing of a Heat-Sink Concept.

Abstract

This report was prepared as a part of the PRE-MINE DUST test program. The basic objective of the work is to provide guidelines for a nuclear test of a heat-sink concept for reducing the size of a cavity required for seismic decoupling of underground nuclear explosions. The concept is also of interest in engineering the containment of explosions. (Author)
