Parallel Profile Plots for Visual Terrain Display.

Abstract

The production of parallel profile plots of terrain elevation data grids in the oblique projection is studied, algorithms developed and software written. The additional problem of deleting profile lines in areas of low information content is addressed and partial solutions presented. (Author)
