Experimental Investigation of Unsteady Separation.

Abstract

This is a preliminary report on a project which essentially involves the setting up of special laboratory equipment to investigate unsteady viscous phenomena and the development of appropriate methods of visualization. The present report contains only a sample of experimental results and some initial interpretations. Much more data have been collected and is now being processed. Moreover, more information is being generated beyond the schedule originally proposed. It is expected to complete this phase of the work around May of 1978 and the final report can be completed in June or July 1978.
