G-Ordered Functions in Statistics.

Abstract

This paper generalizes and extends work for functions decreasing in transposition (DT). It introduces reflection ordering and G-ordered functions and develops many preservation properties for these functions. G-ordered functions contain, as a special case, G-monotone functions and a preservation theorem for G-monotone functions is shown under an integral transform. The results are extended in the area of stochastic comparisons to a larger class of probability distributions.
