General Physiological Aspects of the Problem of the Perception of Weak Signals by an Organism,

Abstract

The definition of the concept 'weak signal' as applied to biological systems is given. The qualitative and quantitative indices of the signal as a material information carrier are determined. Cases of the effect of a stimulus on a living organism are classified. (Author)
