Logistics and Operational Effectiveness of the P-3 Aircraft.

Abstract

This report summarizes a 12-month logistic and engineering support effort performed by ARINC Research Corporation for the Naval Systems Command. It describes the activities that provided the P-3 Project Manager with an independent and objective evaluation of factors affecting the P-3's operational availability and logistic support posture. The effort consisted primarily of tasks in integrated logistic support, engineering activities, P-3 operational readiness programs, aircraft component transitioning, maintenance plan development, and foreign military sales programs.
