Logistics and Operational Effectiveness of the P-3 Aircraft.

Abstract

This report summarizes a 12-month logistics, engineering, and program analysis effort performed by ARINC Research Corporation for the Naval Air Systems Command. It describes the activities that provided the P-3 Project Manager with an independent and objective evaluation of factors affecting the P-3's operational availability and logistic support posture. The effort consisted primarily of analysis tasks for the major P-3 modification programs, integrated logistic support, foreign military sales programs, operational readiness programs, and P-3 site transition programs.
