Infrared Studies of Water and Hydrated Materials.

Abstract

We have developed several experimental methods for the quantitative determination of absorption band intensities in the infrared. These methods have been applied in a quantitative study of the infrared properties of water and aqueous solutions of strong electrolytes. Copies of the major journal articles reporting our results are included in this report. (Author)
