Sommeil et Bruit (Sleep and Noise).

Abstract

This article presents various modes of study of the effects of noise on sleep, as well as the various factors which related to noise, sleep, or the individual himself, are liable to modify such effects. The authors emphasize the need to define criteria able to reflect the disturbed sleep of populations exposed to noise, and to orientate their research along new lines of approach to allow exploration of the long-term effects on human health, of exposure to noise during sleep.
