Hydrologic Engineering Methods for Water Resources Development. Volume 12. Sediment Transport.

Abstract

This volume addresses the topics of river morphology, data collection and analysis, reservoir sedimentation, and aggradation and degradation in free-flowing streams. The emphasis of the volume is on practical approaches and techniques for analyzing sediment problems. Application of digital computer simulation for calculating the volume and location of sediment deposits in reservoirs, and for predicting aggradation or degradation trends downstream from dams as well as in free flowing streams, is discussed.
