Abstract

The seminar proceedings contain 12 papers. Topics addressed by the papers include: (1) Case studies of integrated planning-hydrologic studies; (2) State of the art of correlation of project hydrologic outputs with planning objectives such as national and regional income environmental quality, and social well-being; (3) Development and application of integrated hydrologic-economic computer models; (4) Role of hydrologic engineering in plan formulation and evaluation; (5) Hydrologic engineering data and analysis requirements in plan formulation and evaluation; and (6) Application of hydrologic engineering techniques in planning for flood plain management.
