Trip Steels Promise High Reliability Hardware.

Abstract

Based on a review of the properties of typical TRIP steels, a discussion is presented of possible Army applications for this new material. Problems related to component fabrication and specification controls are presented, and a brief outline of a recommended R and D program is included. (Author)
