A Comparison of Approaches to Provide a Debugging System for the AN/UYK-20.

Abstract

This study was conducted to establish feasible approaches to debugging programs for the AN/UYK-20, the Navy's standard minicomputer. Five approaches are identified and compared: internal, external, hybrid, software, and virtual machine. The results of this study can be generalized to cover the problems of program debugging for all digital computers. (Author)
