Documentation of PDP 11/70 Software for Determining Travel-Time Differences from Cross Covariances,

Abstract

The Navelex 320 Surface Shipping problem is resolved by the development of a method of correlating signals received from two widely spaced hydrophones, in and effort to locate the source. An exposition of the theoretical approach to this problem has been documented previously. This report deals with the actual implementation of the solution, through the use of current computer technology.
