Acceleration and Impact of Structures Moved by Tsunamis or Flash Floods.

Abstract

Techniques are given for determining the velocity of a structure moved by a tsunami or flash flood and impact forces with another structure. Solutions can be obtained for velocity and impact force as a function of the initial distance between the structures and the velocity of the surging water. (Author)
