Real-Time Classification of Radar Changes.

Abstract

This report contains the results of a study of different methods of radar change detection. Four techniques were investigated, all as related to pixel-by-pixel processing. The results were compared to the previously developed techniques of straight correlation registration and absolute difference thresholding for change detection. The four techniques included registration of compressed data, gradient images, object boundary images, and strong return images. The strong return techniques demonstrated the most promise. (Author)
