Studies of the Disturbed Upper Atmosphere Utilizing Rocketborne Instrumentation.

Abstract

This report contains summaries, with reference to technical reports, describing development and use of fourteen rocket payloads to investigate ionospheric parameters and new techniques of measurement. Additionally, theoretical studies were undertaken in the laboratory to assist in interpretation of measurements. This report details experiments conducted, instrumentation, and results of these efforts.
