The Partial Donor Cell Method.

Abstract

The partial donor cell method is a nonlinear combination of the donor cell method and a second order scheme. It prevents the appearance of maxima or minima caused by the higher order scheme. The dependent variable is stationary for zero velocity and the method can readily be generalized to multidimensions. (Author)
