A Processing Technique for Symmetric Signals,

Abstract

A symmetric signal S(t), -T equal to or less than t equal to or less than T, is one for which S(t)=S(-t). Such symmetrics are independent of Doppler effects and thus of interest in certain applications. A correlation-like processing technique is described here that capitalizes on this symmetry property.
