Anticholinesterase-Responsive Weakness in the Canine Similar to Myasthenia Gravis of Man.

Abstract

A disease resembling human myasthenia gravis was diagnosed in a canine. Diagnosis was based on clinical signs, clinicopathological findings, and clinical response to anticholinesterase agents. A review of previously reported canine cases is presented. Diagnosis, treatment, and possible etiologies are discussed. (Author)
