FSACV Model Development Tests - Calm and Rough Water Performance and Stability Characteristics.

Abstract

Hydrodynamic tests were conducted on a model of the FSACV to characterize the craft in the areas of performance, seakeeping, habitability and stability. Data was obtained over a range of LCG's trunk pressures, speeds, and cushion air flows in both calm water and irregular head seas. The results are tabulated and graphed, and the effect of major parameters discussed. (Author)
