Test Design Analyses of the Land Combat Support System, Electronic Test Group - 3.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to perform a fault-mode analysis and to select faults for insertion into units under test as part of an evaluation of the tape programs to be used in the LCSS automatic checkout equipment, ETG-3. The effectiveness of each program will be measured by inserting the faults into the LCSS and each missile system and determining the capability of the ETG-3 and its automatic program to isolate and identify these failures. This summary report presents the results of analyses performed on the service-test model and development model of the ETG-3 and Shillelagh guidance and control system, and the development models of the Lance and Tow missile systems.
