Some Problems Related to the Bellman-Dirichlet Equation for Two Elliptic Operators.

Abstract

Existence, uniqueness and regularity properties are proved for a solution u of the control problem: max(A sub 1 u - f sub 1, A sub 2 u - f sub 2, u - psi) = 0 in Omega and u = 0 on del Omega, as well as related problems, where A sub 1, A sub 2 are two second-order uniformly elliptic operators. Our methods are based upon monotonicity arguments.
