Investigation of Modulation/Coding Trade-Off for Military Satellite Communications. Volume I: Summary.

Abstract

This final report presents the analysis, computer program documentation, and results of a modulation/coding tradeoff study of satellite communication systems. Performance measures of bit error rates and data bit throughput are evaluated for coherent MPSK signals through bandlimited nonlinear satellite repeaters with uplink and downlink noise. (Author)
