Development of a Procedure for the Evaluation of Soil Subsampling Routine I (Feasibility of a Weak Beta Emitter as a Radioactive Tracer).

Abstract

This report describes a study conducted to determine the feasibility of using a soluble uranium salt as a tracer for evaluation of soil subsampling routines. Beta activities of soils spiked with zinc uranyl acetate reflected significant differences resulting from contrasting subsampling routines. (Author)
