Calculation of Combat Vehicle Protection against a Residual Radiation Threat.

Abstract

Gamma protection factors (GPF) for two medium tanks have been calculated using the Monte Carlo program, MORSE. Comparisons with appropriate experiments show good agreement. It is concluded that this calculational approach is a viable alternative to experiment for determining the GPFs of armored vehicles. (Author)
