Preliminary Design for Multimode Matrix Perception Experiment Software.

Abstract

The Multi-Mode Matrix Display Program is testing the acceptability of using light-emitting diode displays in USAF aircraft. The preliminary design for the software was done by following a method which enhances software maintainability. The method uses abstracts data types, data flow diagrams, and structured design techniques to produce a complete design for the system. The software design is presented using structure charts together with functional descriptions of all modules and definitions of the interfaces between modules. (Author)
