MCP Glass Analysis Studies.

Abstract

Fourteen different commercially available glasses used in MCP production were analyzed in detail. The relevant physical, chemical and electrical properties were measured. An alternative method to fabricate MCP through a photosensitive glass was developed. Channel plates with hole diameters down to 15 micron were prepared and their secondary electron emissions measured. (Author)
