Abstract

Professor H. B. Seed of the University of California and Professor R. V. Whitman of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology visited the U. S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station on 15-16 September 1970 and 26-27 October 1970, respectively, to discuss the earthquake resistance of earth and rock-fill dams.
