Studies of Electromagnetic Sound Generation for Non-Destructive Testing.

Abstract

A new technique for NDE has been studied and found to have good potential for the detection of small flaws in ceramic materials. The technique utilizes photoacoustic spectroscopy. Additional studies on the use of evaporated CdS thin film transducers with contactless interdigital electrodes have been carried out. (Author)
