Statistical Properties of a Staggered-PRF MTI System

Abstract

In this report the statistical properties of improvement factors of a staggered-PRF MTI system are presented for cases in which optimal filter weights are used and in which binomial filter weights are used. It is shown that the degree of deviation of samples is a function of both the standard deviation of the clutter spectrum density function and the amount of variation of interpulse durations.
