An Evaluation of the Method of Determining Parallax from Measured Phase Differences.

Abstract

The practicality of determining parallax by means of detecting phase differences extracted from corresponding epipolar scans was evaluated using a digitized aerial image. The method was found to be not as accurate and not as efficient as conventional image matching techniques. (Author)
