A Comparison of Neutron-Activation and Chemical Techniques for Determining the Fluorine Content of Fluorochemical-Treated Fabrics,

Abstract

The fluorine content of fabric samples treated with three different fluorochemical finishes has been determined by means of both chemical and neutron-activation techniques. The results obtained using the two analytical techniques are compared, and the advantages of neutron activation are discussed. (Author)
