On the Radiation Damping of High Q Externally Resonant Electromagnetic Systems.

Abstract

This report addresses the question of radiation damping of resonant systems whose wavelength is larger than twice the system length. The frequencies of oscillation of such systems are also discussed. Examples, to illustrate the theory, use the RESMOD geometry which was one of the configurations tested in the MRC Phase IV A and B photon experiments. (Author)
