Magnetic Bubble Memory System Concepts for Field Data Acquisition Applications.

Abstract

The characteristics of the new solid state, nonvolatile Magnetic Bubble Memories (MBM) were investigated to define their potential for field data acquisition applications. A prototype model of a memory subsystem (hardware and software) was designed and tested to demonstrate one concept. Other memory and acquisition system design alternatives were also considered.
