Effects of Nonequilibrium Phenomena on Radar Transmission - Nonequilibrium Ionization.

Abstract

An assessment has been made of the LTE (Local Thermodynamic Equilibrium) approximation of the chemical kinetics of nuclear fireballs. The results are described in terms of the effect of the nonequilibrium fireball upon the radiant flux incident on a radar path. (Author)
