Aircraft Defogging and Defrosting (Transparent Area).

Abstract

This report provides procedures for testing and evaluating aircraft defogging and defrosting equipment. The test item may be an integral part of the aircraft environmental control system or a separate system designed to operate independently or in conjunction with the aircraft environmental control system. The procedure is to determine if the test item can prevent or eliminate fogging or frosting of the interior and exterior surfaces of aicraft transparent areas in all aircraft operational modes.
