Periodic Magnetostatic Surface Wave Transducers,

Abstract

A theoretical basis for the generation/detection and processing of microwave magnetostatic surface wave signals using periodic structures is developed. Included in the analysis are: infinite and finite length periodic and nonperiodic structures, and radiation resistance for independent as well as interacting transducer electrodes. Finite length meander and grating line transducers and nonuniform current distributions are discussed. The technology has application in microwave signal processing systems. (Author)
