A New Method for the Analysis of Dielectric Waveguides for Millimeter Wave and Optical Integrated Circuits.

Abstract

A new method for the analysis of dielectric waveguides for millimeter and optical integrated circuits and a new dielectric waveguide structure are presented. A comparison between this new method and the previously available approaches by Itoh is given. Experimental results are described and the agreement between theory and experiment is shown to be quite good. (Author)
