Electron Spectroscopic Studies of Surfaces and Interfaces for Adhesive Bonding.

Abstract

This report describes work carried out in the first twelve months of a twenty eight month contract to study the interaction of simple organic molecules on a aluminum and titanium surfaces prepared for adhesive bonding using electron spectroscopic techniques. Other electron spectroscopic studies of specimens related to the surface phenomena program are also reported. (Author)
