Status Report of AGGIE I Computer Program.

Abstract

A status report of the AGGIE I structural analysis program is presented. AGGIE I is a computer program for predicting the linear and nonlinear, static and dynamic structural response of two- and three-dimensional continuum solids. The program is based on isoparametric finite elements and allows for two-dimensional plane stress, plane strain and axisymmetric analyses and general three-dimensional analyses. Large strain kinematics is based on the total Lagrangian formulation. Materially nonlinear models include several elastic-plastic, work-hardening models as well as an incompressible Mooney-Rivlin model. Included in this status report are several structural problems which have been investigated to verify the program. A listing of current program users is given. Also included is a summary of ongoing work which, when completed, will result in several improvements of the AGGIE I program. (Author)
